* 2010 SILVER WINGS *First Practice: THURSDAY, JULY 29th, from 6-7:30pm @ Kreinhop Elementary* Wear comfortable Tshirt, shorts and tennis shoes. Hair our of face in pony tail. Bring a towel to sit on and a bottle of water to drink. * Practice attire will be handed out at the end of practice- to everyone who has turned in all required paperwork and volunteer check.* During our "Summer" practices, if your daughter is unable to attend a practice due to a scheduled family vacation, please let Jill Barnes know .General InformationWho We Are ....The Silver Wings are a cheer and dance team, organized to give young girls a positive and fun experience in participating in a team environment. We cheer for the Klein Eagle football teams and learn dances to compete in a Drill Team Competition at the end of season. We stress the importance of good sportsmanship, being kind to others, and helping the team achieve our goals. Our goal is for these girls to not only have fun and learn, but to grow and build character so that they can become positive role models and influences in our community.Zoning & Our Schedule...If your daughter is zoned to attend Schindewolf Middle School, then you are in Silver Wing territory! The (4) elementary schools we pull from are: Kreinhop, Roth, Lemm and Haude. The Silver Wing season runs from August thru November. We practice two days during the week and each Saturday, until the first game. Once games begin, then we will perform at (2) football games each Saturday. Practices are held at Kreinhop elementary school- in the gym.Practices begin in August and games begin in September.Registration Cost and Additional Fees...Registration : (Copy of Birth Certificate & Report Card Required) $100.00Required Fundraiser: Sell $360.00 of World's Finest Chocolate Candy -OR-Fundraiser Buy-Out of $180.00Uniform Fee: (For NEW Members Only) $160.00 - Includes: Top, Skirt, Bloomers, Socks, Hair Bow and Duffel Bag, Shoes and Water Bottle.** RETURNING DANCERS PAY normal registration & fundraiser fee's but are only required to pay a $40.00 UNIFORM ACCESSORY FEE(Includes: New Hair Bow, Socks & Shoes)* Payment Plans are available for above expenses.
